I’m currently building on side project manly to learn new stuff and expand my skillset.
I had the idea to build a web/mobile responsive app that show the latest game releases in a flash. Because i cant i cant bothered to make my own database and add every single game that comes out in the world, the best option was to use a API with a large game collection. I tested a couple of API options and the IGDB API was the one that worked best for my needs.
First i build a new custom theme for WordPress ( I use wordpress maybe as CMS to edit my content ) with bootstrap as a front-end base framework. then i integrated the API with Ajax to get the fastest results on the screen.
